Georgie Traeger

Georgie has grown up on a farm in Currency Creek on the Fleurieu Peninsula, farming dry grown and irrigated lucerne as well as black angus cattle. This has inspired her decision to work towards a career in the agriculture industry.

 

She has always been interested in livestock but since undertaking this degree her interests have broadened to cropping and pasture agronomy. At the completion of Georgie's degree, she hopes to receive a role as a graduate agronomist to further her knowledge and become a part of the ever-growing industry.

 

Georgie is grateful for the opportunities undertaking this degree has given her, such as becoming a part of AUASA. Being treasurer, she is excited to be more involved in a committee which provides students with so many opportunities.
