Lydia Semmler

Merchandise Officer

Lydia grew up in the Barossa Valley, and now lives on a small sheep property.

Her love for agriculture has developed over the years, stemming from a variety of people and places including her schooling, partners family, and employment in grain breeding, agronomy, and grain marketing.

She has a strong passion for continual learning, specifically around broad-acre cropping and the Australian grains industry. She is keen to understand more about the interactions between science, farming and agribusiness, as well as meet new people along the way.

By joining the AUASA committee, Lydia is excited to help connect students with industry. As well as deliver new ideas and organisation to her role in merchandise.
